What we collect

Almost nothing, and none of it identifies you. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no API key and no cookies. This page describes both the website and the Quran Mushaf Canva app, which share one service.

No analytics, no cookies

The site loads no analytics, no advertising and no tracking scripts of any kind. It sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser's storage. Nothing here follows you to another site.

What the server sees

Rendering an ayah is a plain web request, so the server necessarily receives your network address in order to answer it. That address is used for one purpose — a per-address request limit that stops a script pulling the entire muṣḥaf in a loop — and it is held only in memory. It is never written to a database, never linked to anything else, and disappears when the service restarts.

The verses you render are not logged, not stored and not associated with you. We keep no history of what anyone has generated.

The Canva app

The Canva app runs entirely in the panel Canva gives it. The only permission it asks for is the one that lets it add the finished image to your own Canva media library. It cannot read your designs, and it sends us nothing about you or your account. It requests the list of surahs and an image address from this service, then hands that public address to Canva, which fetches the image itself and places it in your design.

Third parties

Typefaces on this website are served by Google Fonts, so loading a page contacts fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, which receive your network address as part of that request. The Canva app does not use Google Fonts. Beyond this, no third party receives anything.

Images are cached and delivered through Cloudflare, which handles requests on our behalf as our infrastructure provider.

Children

The service is not directed at children, and because it collects no personal information, it gathers nothing from them either.
